An Orange County, California, judge is facing pressure to resign after he gave a 19-year-old child molester a lesser sentence than the minimum sentence allowed by law. Kevin Rojano-Nieto sodomized a 3-year-old girl who wandered into a garage where he was playing video games, but Judge M. Marc Kelly decided that the 25-year minimum would be “cruel and unusual punishment,” and gave the teen just 10 years. A Change.org petition now has 50,000 people calling for his resignation.
