Thirteen visitors are confirmed dead in the wake of a magnitude-6.0 earthquake that triggered a rock slide on Mount Kinabalu, one of the tallest mountains in Southeast Asia. Six people are still unaccounted for. Malaysian tourism minister Masidi Manjun has announced that a harvest festival planned for Sunday has been canceled and Monday will be a “day of mourning” in the nation.
