State police fired shotguns Thursday to deflate the U.S. Army surveillance blimp that broke free in Maryland and floated north to rural Pennsylvania before landing in trees. According to the Associated Press, it could take weeks to completely dismantle the 240-foot aircraft, which is now secured to the ground with ropes.
