The man who stabbed four people at the University of California’s Merced campus has been identified as 18-year-old freshman Faisal Mohammad. The teenager graduated high school in Santa Clara in 2015, and was killed by police. Police say Mohammad used an 8- to 10-inch knife for the Wednesday morning attack. “He had a smile on his face, he was having fun, which is more the thing that bothers me,” said victim Byron Price. The school's chancellor Dorothy Leland told the press that Mohammad's motive is unknown but appears based on "personal animosity, not a political agenda."
