A 22-year-old Florida man suspected of burglary was killed by an alligator while hiding from cops last month, local authorities said. According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, in mid-November, Matthew Higgins hid near a local lake while police pursued him. An 11-foot alligator attacked and killed him, and police did not discover his body until at least 10 days later.
