Ted Cruz prevailed with another delegate haul from the Arizona Republican Party convention, drawing the ire of supporters of Donald Trump in the state. The Cruz slate secured basically all of the 28 at-large national delegates and split the 27 delegates selected by congressional district. The victory is mostly strategic in nature because Trump, having won Arizona, will be awarded all 58 delegates from the state on a first ballot vote at the convention. Former Governor Jan Brewer, a Trump backer, reportedly yelled "I got cheated," as the results were determined.
