Sen. Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton in Oregon’s primary Tuesday, though Clinton looked set to recoup losses by taking Kentucky. In Oregon, Sanders prevailed with 53 percent of votes compared to her 47 percent, and Republican nominee Donald Trump easily secured the win for the GOP with 66.6 percent. But Clinton was on track for a symbolic victory in Kentucky, where she was in the lead by about 1,800 votes with nearly all votes counted. Clinton had spent two days campaigning in the state that she’d won handily back in 2008, and she cheerfully proclaimed victory on Twitter as the final votes came in. “We won Kentucky! Thanks to everyone who turned out. We’re always stronger united,” she wrote.
