According to a Forbes report, Gawker Media is mulling whether to sue billionaire investor Peter Thiel for his funding efforts to undermine the company. Its lawyers are currently looking into whether Thiel violated any laws, according to a source, who mentioned tortious interference and racketeering as possible offenses. Gawker Media filed for bankruptcy protection earlier Friday in order to prevent an order forcing it to pay $140 million to Hulk Hogan.
