Eastman Patrol Officer Tim Smith was fatally shot in Georgia on Saturday night according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. Smith was responding to a suspicious person call and when he exited his car, he was shot. The suspect is still reportedly on the loose. The investigation is ongoing and Smith was reportedly not wearing a body camera.
