Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, the 29-year-old son of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman (pictured above), was released on Friday along with five other men with whom he was kidnapped from a bar in Puerto Vallarta. Authorities believe that the men involved in the kidnapping were from the Jalisco New Generation cartel, a rival to the Sinaloa cartel to which Salazar belongs. The Mexico Attorney General’s office said that it was still working on the investigation into the incident.
