Wade's cousin, Nykea Aldridge, was killed on the South Side of Chicago on Friday while pushing a baby stroller on her way to register her kids for school. Wade tweeted about the crime to remind his followers about the ongoing problem of gun violence in Chicago, while Trump appeared to be celebrating the moment in the hopes it would give him more supporters. Trump's comments, which appeared to be an attempt to remind voters that he is the "law and order candidate," sparked outrage among Twitter users, with many denouncing the Republican nominee for hijacking the tragic news to push his own agenda. Trump later deleted the tweet, and then tweeted it again with the correct spelling of Wade's name.
