The Chicago Cubs scored their first win in the World Series since 1945, grabbing a 5-1 victory against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday evening. “This is the moment that we all look forward to when we were little kids, to play in the World Series,” said outfielder and catcher Kyle Schwarber, who came back after a devastating season-long injury. “We just took a small step today, but we’ve still got a long way to go.” The teams are now tied 1-1 in the series. The Cubs haven’t won a World Series title since 1908, in what is the longest Major League Baseball drought between championships.
