CNN Reporter Drew Griffin and His Camera Crew Save Man From Floodwaters
“I just can’t believe that just happened.”
CNN reporter Drew Griffin and his camera crew rescued a man from Texas floodwaters Wednesday morning. Jerry Sumrall and his truck started floating away when he accidentally drove into a ravine in Beaumont. “I want to thank these guys for saving my life. Thank you,” Sumrall said. “There was no time to call 911,” Griffin said while holding up the rope he used to pull the man out of the water. “...I just can’t believe that just happened.”
