Russian-American lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin confirmed he also attended a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with Donald Trump Jr. that is being scrutinized for Moscow’s efforts to aid the Trump campaign, the Associated Press reported Friday, hours after NBC News broke the news. Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser, and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort were also present at the meeting.
