Report: Ex-Soviet Intel Officer Was Also in Trump Jr. Meeting

The Russian attorney who met with Donald Trump Jr. last June on the premise of sharing dirt on Hillary Clinton brought with her to the meeting a Russian-American lobbyist—“a former Soviet counterintelligence officer who is suspected by some U.S. officials of having ongoing ties to Russian intelligence,” according to NBC News. The lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, previously acknowledged being accompanied by at least one other person when she met with Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner at Trump Tower.
