For over a year, rumors have been swirling about the 23rd installment of the James Bond franchise. Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto and Tron star Olivia Wilde were allegedly next to fill the Bond Girl’s big stilettos, but the role has gone to French actress Bérénice Marlohe, who was introduced at Thursday's press conference for Bond no. 23, called Skyfall. "I play a glamorous, enigmatic character called Severine,” 30-year-old Marlohe said at the press conference, according to People magazine. Sam Mendes is directing Skyfall, Daniel Craig will be reprising his role for the third time as 007, and Dame Judi Dench and Javier Bardem will also return once again.
