The 30-year-old actress stars as the iconic blonde in the upcoming film, My Week With Marilyn, which recently began filming in London. The movie, directed by Simon Curtis, is adapted from the diary of Colin Clark, who was a 23-year-old production assistant on the set of Monroe’s 1957 movie The Prince and the Showgirl, co-starring Laurence Olivier ( Kenneth Branagh). My Week With Marilyn, which also stars Emma Watson and Judi Dench, chronicles the time Clark spent with Monroe while filming in England, a period that coincided with her honeymoon with then-new husband, playwright Arthur Miller.
