Jamie Hince, aka the soon-to-be Mr. Kate Moss, is far from the supermodel’s first love—or even her first rocker. From her four-year romance with Johnny Depp to her tumultuous relationship with Pete Doherty, see photos of her boyfriends.

Mario Sorrenti

A few years after moving to London at 18, Italian-born photographer Mario Sorrenti met recently discovered model Kate Moss on a fashion shoot. The two began dating and traveling together. Eventually, they made it across the pond. Sorrenti and the then-19-year-old Moss met with the casting director for Calvin Klein’s upcoming campaign in 1992 and she landed the job on the spot. “We wanted something out of life, and the next thing you know, Kate was a supermodel,” Sorrenti recalled to New York magazine. Eventually, their relationship ended, as did the craze for Moss’ heroin chic look. But they have stayed friends and continue collaborating, as recently as last spring for Vogue Paris.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Apparently, the Inception star’s love of dirty-blond blue-eyed models started early. Shortly after becoming an iconic figure in the fashion world in 1994, Moss reportedly hooked up with 20-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio. But she soon moved on to his older What’s Eating Gilbert Grape co-star, Johnny Depp.

Johnny Depp

Moss met brooding heartthrob Johnny Depp at a café in New York in 1994. “I knew from the first moment we talked that we were going to be together. I’ve never had that before,” the model later told Spin magazine. They had a very public on-and-off relationship for nearly four years, full of exotic vacations, glamorous red carpet events, and a not-so-chic display at the Mark Hotel. But by 1998, they ended things for good. “Kate is somebody I care about deeply… She’s a great, lovely, sweet, pure girl, really a great kid, and I care about her. I love her on a very deep, profound level,” Depp told the New York Daily News of his ex. Not long thereafter, Depp settled with his current partner, Vanessa Paradis, with whom he now has two children.

Evan Dando

The Lemonheads’ Evan Dando certainly fit Kate Moss’ bad-boy rocker type—except it seems Dando might have taken down Moss with him. The pair were linked in 1998, after which Moss followed up with a visit to rehab. At 24, Moss said she “wasn’t happy with the way my life was going,” but a friend said Moss had been “hitting the bottle” and suffered a “mini-collapse.” They remained “mates,” and paired up in 2009 for the Lemonheads’ album Varshons, for which Moss sang “Dirty Robot.”  Dando was pleased with the collaboration, saying Moss was “our first choice” for the song and said “she’s a quick study—she’s very bright.”

Antony Langdon

In the late ’90s, after rocker Royston Langdon began dating actress Liv Tyler, she introduced his musician brother Antony to her supermodel friend Kate Moss, who thrust him into the spotlight. “The paparazzi are a real invasion, but you have to get used to it,” Royston told Spin magazine. “Antony’s got his own demons, as we all have, but Kate’s a really beautiful girl at the best of times.” Though Antony and Moss didn’t make it, Royston married Tyler, though they eventually divorced after having a son together.

Jesse Wood

Moss’ infatuation with modelesque musicians continued with Jesse Wood, son of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood. The two British-born models briefly dated in the late 1990s, and they reconnected in 2007 for a Burberry ad campaign shot by Mario Testino.

Jefferson Hack

Dazed & Confused co-founder Jefferson Hack was a departure from Moss’ musician/actor type. The journalist was, however, close to that scene, covering everyone from Björk to David Bowie. They were inseparable at fashion shows in 2001 and quickly had the tabloids talking. “He can stand his own,” one friend told The Observer of their relationship. “He doesn’t have to feel inferior. It’s not like he’s some provincial nobody. Jefferson’s cool.” A year later, the two welcomed Moss’ only child, Lila Grace, on September 29, 2002. Hack is still in Moss’ life and recently told The Evening Standard that he is “thrilled and delighted” for the mother of his child to walk down the aisle.

Daniel Craig

Although Daniel Craig has blasted the media for paying too much attention to his relationship with Kate Moss, it is a little strange that they are marrying within a week of each other. Craig and Moss dated for about four months in 2004, and the then fairly unknown actor rocketed to tabloid stardom. “I used to get very hung up about it,” Craig said later. “I don’t enjoy having someone go to my mother’s door. It’s like having the Secret Service on your back.” He said he doesn’t regret the affair, but said what happened later was “incredibly disturbing.”

Pete Doherty

Pete Doherty and Kate Moss’ troubled relationship began in 2005, at her 31st birthday party at her English country home. A source said “Kate and Pete were all over each other. They were sitting on each other’s laps all evening, kissing really passionately; they only had eyes for each other.” This fateful meeting led to a dramatic 2 1/2 year on-again, off-again relationship—one in which Doherty spent at least some of the time on drugs, admitting in court in 2007 that he possessed quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis, and ketamine. Doherty entered rehab in January 2007 with Moss, and in April he introduced her as his fiancée at a concert. But things fell apart pretty quickly after that: On July 4 of the same year, movers were spotted at Moss’ London home removing Doherty’s belongings. Although Doherty later called the last few weeks of their relationship “like the Vietnam War” because of Moss’ jealousy, he later expressed regret over their breakup. “I love her with all my heart,” Doherty said in August 2007. “I like the way she walks and talks. I love her bones. I love her brain.”

Jamie Burke

Model Jamie Burke was only 20 years old when he met Kate Moss, then 31, on the Caribbean island of Neckar, which is owned by Sir Richard Branson. A few weeks later, Burke and Moss went on a romantic getaway to Aspen, despite the fact that Burke had just spent Christmas with his girlfriend, model Jessie Leonard. Burke said he was “f---ing chuffed” at the relationship with Moss, and “had a ball for a couple of months.” But dating Moss brought paparazzi to his doorstep, and he said “seeing firsthand what her life is like, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.” After the fling with Moss ended, Burke moved to New York, where he was soon spotted kissing Lindsay Lohan; the pair would date through May.

Russell Brand

So do we all have Kate Moss to thank for Get Him to the Greek? Russell Brand certainly thinks so: The actor said in his 2010 autobiography Booky Wook 2 that hooking up with Moss was like the “celebrity Victoria Cross”—and it increased his value immeasurably. “The word ‘approved’ was stamped on my forehead and I was now to appear in The Sun newspaper as regularly as the horoscopes,” Brand wrote. Brand described their romantic liaison in great detail in his book, writing that when he saw her in his modest apartment it was “like looking into the garden and seeing Vegas Elvis mowing the lawn.” He said he left to go to his radio show, and when he returned, Moss had made the bed. But it was not meant to be: They were splashed all over the tabloids, and Brand wrote that although he was “absolutely smitten,” he told journalists he and Moss were “just larking around.” Brand wrote he “had enough sense to stop calling her” after that comment, but that he kept her number in his cellphone as “Grimy Tyke” as a “digital memento.”

Jamie Hince

Looks like Jamie Hince could be Kate Moss’s last boyfriend. The Kills guitarist and Moss are set to be married Friday, complete with a lavish ceremony known as “Mosstock.” So who is Jamie Hince exactly? The 40-year-old certainly fills the bill for Moss as a rocker, although the vegan is hardly a bad boy. He proposed to Moss in bed, but he reportedly went the traditional way first by asking her parents for permission. Only five months later, their wedding is already being called “Mosstock” for its three days’ worth of partying and events. In addition to all the rockers present, the chief bridesmaid will be Lila, Moss’ daughter from a previous relationship, and the “best man” is Hince’s bandmate, Alison Mosshart.
