Beyoncé debuted a surprise baby bump on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards in a bright-red one-shouldered Lanvin gown. As soon as she appeared, showing off her stomach, Twitter exploded with the trending topic: “BEYONCE IS PREGNANT.”

Before the awards started, Twitter was abuzz with speculation over what Lady Gaga would wear. #WhatWillGagaWear became a trending topic on Twitter. And by the start of the show, the question was answered: Gaga appeared in full drag—in black Brooks Brothers pants, white T shirt, and a slicked-back wig—to open the show with her single “You & I.”
