A Dog’s Christmas

Santa Paws! Dogs Get (Dressed In) The Holiday Spirit

What’s the point of having a pet if you can’t dress it up like Santa? We don’t want to know.

Christmas spirit certainly doesn't have to be limited to the human race. These animals have (albeit against their will) donned some festive duds and are waiting for you to ooh and ahh over them, preferably with treats. If Santa ever decided to sub out his reindeer, these little guys and gals would be waiting in the wings to do their part. Hell, they could even take over for the big guy himself.

Aaron Nam

Kobe Nam gives the camera his best pout in a belted Santa suit.

Joshua Owen

Poor Baxter does not look entirely happy to have a hat nearly the size of his body perched atop his head.

Jason Thompson

Isn't this bearded Great Dane the Santa you always imagined as a child?

Carrie Radford

Thor isn't looking so mighty in his Christmas ensemble.

Jess Schreibstein

The human hands are a bit much, Lola is probably thinking.

Ed Johnson

Jasper eagerly awaits his treats under the Christmas tree.

Shea Sylvia

These pug buds have the perfect holiday sweaters.

Laurel Himes

Tommy II certainly gives off an air of wisdom.

Jessica Choe

Perfect Christmas card photo op. Zoey poses in her antlers in front of the brightly decorated tree.

Michelle Murphy

Rexx looks slightly ashamed of his duds. His owners say: "He didn't find this Santa suit as funny as we did."

Chelsey Nichols

Ty in his homemade Christmas tree sweater.

Deirdre Brennan

The antlers are a great touch. Max and Lulu pose in their home in Waterford, Ireland.

Jaclyn Friedman

That's Hanukkah dog to you, thank you very much. This little guy, Austin Powers Friedman, models his kippah and tallis for the holiday.
