Vivienne Westwood has gone through many phases—and still, more than thirty years into her career—she’s still going strong. Now, she’s the focus of a new Taschen book, edited by i-D’s founder and creative director Terry Jones, which documents her wild creations and reflects on her impact on the fashion world. The book overflows with rich images from the i-D archive —including shots by Juergen Teller and Nick Knight—and includes interviews with Westwood. As she says of her use of color: “I try to start without color and then I add it. I think I am quite English when it comes to color. It’s like our weather—I like to build an atmosphere.”
