Internet company GoDaddy says it is kicking neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer off its service after months of criticism for providing the site with a domain name. The final straw seems to have been a post published Sunday in which the white-supremacist site used obscene language to mock a woman killed following a white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday. Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old paralegal, was mowed down by an alleged white supremacist following a violent “pro-white” rally. The incident is under investigation by the Justice Department as a possible hate crime. GoDaddy has yet to provide further details on its decision to evict The Daily Stormer, but said on Twitter the neo-Nazi site had been given “24 hours to move the domain to another provider, as they have violated our terms of service.” GoDaddy reportedly served as the website’s domain-name registrar through its subsidiary, Domains by Proxy, for four years, having previously dismissed concerns over the site’s racist and anti-Semitic content.
