Kate Middleton and Prince William released a second, fast-turnaround Trooping the Colour-related video Saturday to thank those involved in the planning and execution of King Charles’ official birthday celebration. The day also marked Kate’s dramatic return to royal duties since last being seen in public in December, and announcing her cancer diagnosis in March. The couple’s post read: “Thank you to everyone involved in Trooping the Colour. Always in awe of the work that goes into putting together such an incredible afternoon.” The video included images of all the key royal family members heading to and participating in the day’s events, including their much-anticipated appearance on Buckingham Palace’s balcony—as well as William and Kate with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Their first video of the day, released hours earlier, carried the message: “All set for the King’s Birthday Parade!” with shots of Kate and her three children getting ready to attend the ceremony. Attached to that message was another message posted a few hours later, with photographs of the day, including Kate pictured with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte in their carriage en route to Trooping the Colour.
