Jamie Lee Curtis stepped in when her co-star, Cate Blanchett, had a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet Tuesday. The fashion faux pas happened during an interview with Entertainment Tonight at a screening of their new film, Borderlands. When Curtis came up behind the Australian actress and seemed to hold her, ET correspondent Denny Directo asked what was going on. “Nothing is going on! You know what is going on? I got her back,” Curtis said. “Are you holding her up right now?” Directo asked Curtis. “Yes I am,” she replied. Blanchett, who was wearing a shirt made out of 102 spoons, agreed that Curtis was holding her up. When asked about her interesting ensemble, Blanchett shimmied her shoulder and said, “I play the spoons. Everyone wants to play the spoons.” Jokes aside, Blanchett’s look was courtesy of Swedish designer Hoda Kova who makes clothes out of repurposed materials.
