Fox News on Wednesday misidentified senior White House adviser and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner as “Jared Kosher.” The eyebrow-raising mistake, first noticed by Mediaite, appeared on the network’s news ticker during the 7 a.m. hour of Fox & Friends. Kushner is a Modern Orthodox Jew along with his wife, Ivanka Trump, who converted to the faith. Kushner has come under fire in recent days for the revelation that he, along with Donald Trump Jr., met with a Kremlin-tied lawyer promising damaging information on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. It was reportedly Kushner’s own lawyers who found Trump Junior’s emails pertaining to the meeting, leading to The New York Times story exposing the conversation.
