Allegations that used to merit widespread outrage in the early days of #MeToo now barely cause a ripple.

“I see young women artists working with sexuality. They just get slut-shamed all over the place. It’s really upsetting,” Minter says. She herself knows the terrain all too well.
Despite museums, galleries and biennales centering work by women in recent years, female artists still earn less than men—and have fewer opportunities to showcase their work.
