LAPD Pleads for Help Finding Suspects Who Killed ‘General Hospital’ Star
KILLERS ON THE LOOSE
On Sunday, the LAPD released new photos of the suspects and vehicle involved in the May shooting death of General Hospital actor Johnny Wactor. According to KABC, the crime occurred in downtown Los Angeles when Wactor was returning to his vehicle after work and discovered his catalytic converter was being stolen. As he approached, he was shot. In one of the grainy images, three men can be seen standing outside of a black 2018 Infiniti Q50 that had been stolen. Prior to the release of these photos, little was known about the suspects besides a brief physical description of the shooter, who had a tattoo above his left eye and one on his right cheek. Following his death, the popular soap opera’s social media page paid tribute to Wactor. “He was truly one of a kind and a pleasure to work with each and every day,” the caption read in part. He played Brando Corbin on 164 episodes of the series.
