Witness: London Van Attack Suspect Yelled ‘I’m Going to Kill All Muslims’

Threw punches at worshippers before being tackled by members of the public.

Witnesses said the suspect who drove a van into several worshippers leaving a North London mosque early Monday jumped out and screamed “I’m going to kill all Muslims” before he was apprehended. At least one person was killed at the Finsbury Park mosque, and eight others injured. A white 48-year-old suspect was arrested after being detained by members of the public. “This big van just came and went all over us,” witness Abdulrahman Saleh Alamoudi told BuzzFeed News. “Luckily I managed to escape, and then the guy came out of his van.” Saleh Alamoudi said the driver was “throwing punches all over.” The incident comes two weeks after a van swerved into a crowd of pedestrians on London Bridge, followed by a stabbing at the nearby Borough Market, an attack that killed seven people.
