A man was arrested outside Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake’s office in Tuscon in Thursday after he allegedly threatened a staffer. According to Flake’s communications director Jason Samuels, Mark Prichard told the staffer: “You know how liberals are going to solve the Republican problem? They are going to get better aim. That last guy tried, but he needed better aim. We will get better aim.” The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said one protester “made comments referencing the shooting of Rep. [Steve] Scalise.” Prichard, 59, and another man were charged with third-degree trespassing, and Prichard was also charged with threats and intimidation.
