Long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad, who recently completed a record-breaking swim from Cuba to Florida, finishes a lap during a continuous 48-hour marathon swim event in New York's Herald Square. The three-story home was located in a crowded residential area of northern New Delhi, where narrow roads made rescue and clean-up efforts difficult.
