How to Watch the 2016 Golden Globes Live Stream Online

The Oscars' drunk little sister airs tonight—here's how to watch without a TV.

The 73rd Golden Globe Awards start Sunday, January 10, at 8 p.m. ET on the NBC broadcast network. Ricky Gervais returns as host for the fourth time, his first since 2012. The Daily Beast has all the pre-game analysis you'll need.

If you have a cable subscription or digital antenna, then watching the ceremony should be no problem at all. For cord-cutters, however, the options are relatively limited.

Unlike most other major events, and despite what other outlets have reported, you cannot watch the NBC coverage live on the network's website, even with a cable subscription. But you can watch NBC live via PlayStation Vue, Sony’s subscription-based internet TV service (currently only available in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, or San Francisco).

So your best bet might be finding a friend or family member who still has a television, and parking yourself on their couch from the evening.

There is also no radio simulcast available of the awards show, so if none of the above options work, you can always follow along with the live updates from The Daily Beast on Twitter.
