David Bowie apparently did not mince words. Coldplay drummer Will Champion revealed in an interview, published Tuesday, that the late rock 'n' roll legend turned down his pop-rock band's request for a collaboration. According to Champion, the British band—set to headline this year's Super Bowl halftime show—wrote a song with a multi-part harmony, with Bowie in mind as a vocalist. When frontman Chris Martin asked the Thin White Duke to participate, however, Bowie was rather blunt: "It's not a very good song, is it?"
