Trump Drumrolls ‘General News Conference’ at Mar-a-Lago
REAL SPECIFIC
Donald Trump will be holding what he described as a “General News Conference” at his Mar-a-Lago estate Thursday. The former president announced the oddly non-specific event on his Truth Social platform, confirming only that it would take place at 2 p.m. at the resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Shortly thereafter, the Republican nominee posted again to attack his Democratic rival in the presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris. “I will expose Kamala during the Debate the same way I exposed Crooked Joe, Hillary, and everyone else during Debates—Only I think Kamala will be easier!” he wrote. Last week, Trump announced that he had pulled out of a scheduled debate on ABC next month and advocated for a showdown on Fox news instead. “We’ll be debating her, I guess, in the pretty near future,” Trump said during a Fox & Friends interview on Wednesday. “It’s going to be announced fairly soon, but we’ll be debating her.” Of course, there’s no telling what his “general” press conference will actually be about.
