Authorities in Chico, California, responded Saturday to an apparent mass drug overdose that left one person dead and 14 hospitalized, KHSL reported. Chico Fire Department Division Chief Jesse Alexander said six fire trucks and eight ambulances responded to a private home and at one point six people were getting CPR at the same time. It wasn’t immediately clear what drug the victims were using, but narcotics cut with fentanyl have been known to cause other mass overdoses.
