More than 100 people were rescued Tuesday after their boat sank in the Indian Ocean. They were reportedly seeking asylum in Australia. The boat sank about 140 miles north of Christmas Island, where a detention camp for asylum seekers is run by Australia. Two of the 106 rescued had minor injuries. It’s still unclear whether any people were missing; initial projections had 105 on board.
