Officials say a five-hour standoff at a motel near Atlanta early Tuesday ended in the rescue of 11 children after the suspect stabbed himself in the neck, critically injuring himself. Dekalb County police told reporters that a dispute took place inside and a woman called 911. The man refused to open the door, causing a SWAT response in tactical gear. Officials say they believe all the children are related but it is unclear how.
