A bomb exploded in a hotel in southwest Pakistan Sunday, killing at least 11 people and injuring nearly 20. A large number of people were sitting in a hall at the time, local police said, and the bomb appears to have been planted. The two-story building was entirely destroyed, and rescue workers were still picking through the rubble to find survivors. Several people were still believed to be trapped, and the death toll could rise. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Baluch militants have been waging an insurgency in the restive area for decades.
