Three people have been arrested in Phoenix after cops found 11 young girls in a “drop house” for smugglers of illegal immigrants. The girls, who ranged in age from 2 to 14 years old, are believed to have been smuggled into the United States from Mexico, El Salvador, and Colombia and were held in an attempt to extort money from their parents. Authorities raided the house Thursday after a report of a kidnapping in El Salvador. The smugglers had threatened to sexually assault the girls if their parents didn’t meet their demands.
