12 Arrested at Freddie Gray Protests

BAD TURN

Peaceful rallies turn violent.

After a day of peaceful protests in Baltimore, things got violent late Saturday with demonstrators smashing police car windows, blocking traffic, and screaming “Killers!” at officers. Orioles-Red Sox fans were asked to stay at stadium as a result of the protest turning violent. One convenience store was looted, and windows were smashed at local businesses. As a result 12 people were arrested. An estimated 1,200 people marched in the protest.
