After five days of searching, the Marine Corps announced late Thursday that 12 missing crew members who were in two helicopters that collided off Hawaii are considered dead. Officials began looking for survivors one week ago when a bystander on a beach reported seeing the pair of helicopters turn into a fireball. The Marines, who ranged in age from 21 to 41 and were all male, were on a nighttime training mission when their choppers apparently crashed into each other.
