Police have arrested a 12-year-old boy in connection with the shooting of his family. After the boy called 911 to report shots at his home in eastern Colorado, police arrived to find his parents, Charles and Marilyn Long, dead, and his two siblings, aged 9 and 5, critically injured. A pastor said the children had also been attacked with a knife. Neighbors said the family’s seven children were homeschooled and that the family was active in a local church. The boy has not yet been charged, but he could be tried as an adult if a judge decides the crime is serious enough.
