A 13-year-old boy was restrained during an American Airlines flight from Maui to Los Angeles on Tuesday after he allegedly tried kicking out the window next to him, according to witnesses. Video taken on the airplane shows passengers and crew working together to hold the boy down as a flight attendant holds a roll of duct tape. But American Airlines said no duct tape was used, and the boy was instead restrained using flex cuffs. The boy, who allegedly tried to attack his mom during the meltdown, was taken into custody after the plane landed in Honolulu.
