A 15-year-old high-school student from Wisconsin shot himself Monday after holing up in a classroom with 23 hostages. The situation began when the gunman shot a projector that was showing a movie. He then drew a second weapon, refused to let anybody leave, and made everyone dump their cellphones in the center of the room. His classmates talked to him about hunting and fishing in order to try to keep him calm. Police stormed the room after he fired three shots, none of which injured anybody. He is in the hospital, and his condition is unknown.
