A 17-year-old boy was attacked by a shark while swimming in the Outer Banks in North Carolina on Saturday. He suffered injuries to his right calf, buttocks, and both hands. It is the second attack in as many days, and brings the total of attacks over the past two weeks to six. He was swimming with others when he was attacked, but no one else was injured.
