An Australian man is believed to be the first convicted as a result of online sex sting operated through Sweetie, a fake 10-year-old Filipino girl. Scott Robert Hansen pleaded guilty to three charges related to child sex abuse in Brisbane District Court. He is one of the more than 1,000 men that have interacted with Sweetie, the computerized young webcam girl. A log of Hansen’s chat with Sweetie included “hi u really 9yo,” “I like asian chicks, are you... for action?,” and “i’m naked, ever seen a guy naked?” Hansen was sentenced to two years in prison, but is not expected to go to jail because of the previous eight months he’s been detained. Sweetie is operated by a Dutch charity, Terre des Hommes. While Hansen is the first convicted because of Sweetie, workers at Terre des Hommes say they have detected far more disturbing child abusers through her.“He [Hansen] was probably not the most serious, not even amongst the most serious,” said one of Sweetie’s operators.
