A nightmare hostage situation started with two police officers shot and injured in the Chicago suburb of Harvey, and turned into a standoff situation as two suspects held six young siblings and two adults hostage. Four children, one only a year old, have been released so far as of Wednesday morning. The officers were responding to a burglary call when gunfire was exchanged. One was shot in the arm and another was grazed, but neither are seriously injured. In addition to the two remaining children, the two adults are still being held hostage.
