Two people died and an additional 17 were injured when two New Jersey Transit buses collided in Newark on Friday morning. One of the vehicles T-boned the other after a traffic light changed at around 6 a.m., but it was unclear which bus had the right of way. One of the buses was knocked into the air, according to a witness. Prosecutors for the county released limited information in the aftermath of the accident, saying only that the second victim was a female passenger. No other identifying information was available.
