2 Officers in DuBose Case Put on Leave

University of Cincinnati officers Phillip Kidd and David Lindenschmidt were put on administrative leave Thursday in connection with the death of Sam DuBose, an unarmed black man who was shot and killed during a traffic stop last week. In a newly released body camera video, Lindenschmidt arrives at the scene and says, “Yeah, saw that” when Officer Ray Tensing, who killed DuBose, says he was dragged by DuBose’s car. “They had a traffic stop, the guy took off on him, the officer got caught in his arm, cause the guy reached for something he thought, so he grabbed on the car, that officer went down when he got tangled in the car, and fired,” Lindenschmidt says.
