20+ Companies Pull ‘O’Reilly’ Ads, As Backlash Grows
Following sexual-harassment allegations.
More than 20 companies have now pulled their advertisements from The O’Reilly Factor, in response to sexual-harassment allegations against Fox News host Bill O’Reilly. Among those who have ditched the firebrand are Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, BMW of North America, Mitsubishi Motors, Lexus, Constant Contact, Bayer, Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, Orkin, UNTUCKit, Allstate, and Esurance. The fallout is linked to reports of five settlements O’Reilly and the network paid out to women who were allegedly sexually harassed or verbally abused by the TV star, who until now has boasted the most popular show on cable news.
