Diehard fans need not weep over the end of the college football season just yet. The NCAA championship game will feature two of the most exciting—not to mention skilled—teams in the league: Alabama Crimson Tide and the Clemson Tigers.
Set for Monday, January 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET, the championship game will take place in Glendale, Arizona.
Alabama are the 2016 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Champions, having won against the Florida Gators back in December, crushing them 54-16. Clemson are the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Champions, having beat Virginia Tech in a modest victory, 42-35.

In the last stops before the championship, both teams remained dominant: The Tigers beat the Ohio State Buckeyes 31-0 in the Fiesta Bowl and Alabama beat the Washington Huskies 24-7 in the Peach Bowl.
As for the championship game itself, Alabama are the favorites to win, but with two teams this talented, anything can happen.
With another whirlwind season almost in the rearview, be sure to catch the Championship game Monday night at 8:00 p.m. ET. Here’s how.
